Colour

Diamonds are found in an array of spectacular colours, the rarest and most valuable being colourless (white) diamonds and the Fancy colours.
Shown is the standard scale for colour grading. It ranges from D (colourless) to Z (light yellow). Colour grades are determined by comparing each diamond to a master colour set and each letter represents a colour grade.

FANCY'S as they are called in the industry (not included in the chart) range from pink to red, green, blue, purple, orange and canary yellow. These diamonds are in a league of their own and due to their rarity they are held in high regard. As their colour saturation intensifies, so does their value.
